Transmissions are our specialty, and we’ve rebuilt countless units over the years. Today’s computer-driven vehicles require a different approach, and in-house rebuilding is no longer the best or most cost-effective solution.
We’ll recommend the right product for your vehicle and present you with the best options. In many cases, that includes a JASPER® remanufactured transmission or engine—known for its quality, durability, and up to 3-year/100,000-mile nationwide parts and labor warranty.
Our goal is to help you avoid repeat issues and get your vehicle back on the road with confidence.
We understand that every vehicle, and every budget, is different. For older or high-mileage vehicles, we prioritize safety and reliability while helping you make informed decisions based on your car’s stage of life and your long-term goals. We will give our honest opinion on when a vehicle is worth investing in or if it's at it's end of life.
We source parts based on quality, fitment, availability, and manufacturer specifications. When possible, we use OEM or OE-equivalent parts. We also work with trusted brands for remanufactured and aftermarket components and always back our work with a warranty.

After our ASE Certified Technicians complete your Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI), we’ll send you a detailed report that includes photos, videos, and notes from our team. In most cases, we’ll also prepare an estimate for any recommended repairs, with a focus on your safety and vehicle reliability. Most DVIs are sent within a few hours of drop-off, depending on when your vehicle was dropped off, the complexity of your concern, and our current testing queue. Vehicles dropped off later in the day may be inspected the following business day. We know being without your vehicle is inconvenient, so we do our best to provide updates to always keep you in the loop about the timing of service.
We’re constantly investing in the tools, equipment, and information needed to serve our customers at the highest level. Our advanced scan tools allow us to read current and historical fault codes from all onboard modules, access freeze frame data, and monitor live data during road tests.
For more complex concerns, we have multiple oscilloscopes, including 4-channel and 8-channel units, to get a deeper look at what’s happening inside your vehicle’s systems. We also have the capability to program and update modules when needed.
Our facility is equipped with multiple lifts that allow us to service everything from small sedans to large dually work trucks. Just as important as the tools is the information behind them. We rely on trusted industry resources like AllData, Identifix, ATSG, iATN, Diagnostic Network, and OEM service information to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
A Full Service Oil Change typically takes 45 to 60 minutes.
But it’s more than just an oil change. It’s a professional service performed by ASE-certified technicians who take the time to check fluid levels, tire condition, belts, hoses, and other key components to help prevent surprise repairs down the road.
When you choose Harrell & Beverly, you’re getting more than a quick lube—you’re getting real value, real care, and real peace of mind. It’s the most thorough oil change in Sanford, and our way of helping you drive with confidence.
Yes, we charge a fee for diagnostic testing and evaluation, and here’s why: We don’t just “look at it” or “pull codes.” Our process is thorough, thoughtful, and built around your safety and peace of mind.
Every evaluation includes a detailed digital report with photos, videos, and clear explanations from our ASE-certified technicians. After identifying the concern, we take the time to research the most accurate and high-quality parts and prepare a personalized estimate and plan of attack. No guesswork, no generic quotes.
This level of testing helps ensure the right repair is done the first time, saving you from wasted time and money on parts that don’t solve the issue. The diagnostic fee covers this in-depth work and is not credited toward the repair, because the evaluation itself is a valuable service—not a sales tactic.
We understand you may want to compare estimates, but we don’t provide quotes based on someone else’s diagnosis. Even if you’ve visited another shop, read online forums, or gotten advice from a friend, we believe the most honest and responsible thing to do is evaluate the vehicle ourselves.
Our process includes a thorough digital inspection, testing, and diagnosis by ASE-certified technicians. You’ll receive a detailed report with photos, videos, and explanations so you can see exactly what we see. This ensures we’re recommending the right repair, not just a guess based on someone else's opinion. It protects your budget and helps avoid unnecessary or incorrect repairs.
We're happy to earn your trust with a transparent process that puts your safety and vehicle health first.
We offer No Interest if paid in full within 12 months.
We don’t install customer-supplied parts—and here’s why: For warranty and liability reasons, we need to source the parts ourselves. It’s a bit like bringing your own steak to a restaurant and asking the chef to cook it. We use only high-quality, trusted parts that allow us to stand behind our work and offer a manufacturer-backed warranty. If anything goes wrong down the road, you can count on us to make it right.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, along with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. We also accept WEX and Voyager fleet cards. Cash payments are accepted, and a 2% discount is available upon request.
Short answer: it depends.
In our experience, these policies often don’t provide the value many people expect. They are designed to limit payouts, and coverage is typically more restrictive than the marketing suggests. While they’re often presented as covering “everything,” the fine print can tell a different story.
We frequently see situations where repairs are partially covered, denied due to exclusions, or limited by the terms of the policy. Some contracts also allow the warranty company to source used or lower-quality parts, which may not align with the level of repair we believe in.
If you’re considering a policy, it’s important to read the terms carefully. Many require strict maintenance documentation, and missing records can lead to denied claims.
An alternative approach some people consider is setting aside the same money in a dedicated savings account to cover future repairs. This can offer more flexibility and fewer surprises if a major repair is needed.
Every situation is different, but the key is understanding exactly what you’re paying for before making a decision.
Yes, we work with aftermarket warranty companies (AWC). We will present our findings and recommendations, and prepare an estimate, to the AWC just like we would to you. Please note:
Sometimes the AWC will approve everything with no questions.
Sometimes they will send an inspector to compile their own report which can cause delays.
Sometimes they will deny recommended service or repair depending on the wording of your agreement.
And sometimes they will only approve a portion of the estimated dollar amount. When this happens you would be responsible for the difference including the deductible.
Bottom line is that we work for you and not for the AWC. We will represent you as best we can, but if the AWC is not doing what needs to be done then you can decide to not use them or contact them directly to try and resolve whatever the issue may be.
We would be happy to read through your AWC agreement to help answer any questions you might have!
